Training the next generation of researchers
We are committed to shaping brilliant new scientists dedicated to industrial photocatalysis.
As an Industrial Doctoral Network, we will channel education to implement innovation in photocatalysis for industrial solutions. Each of our 6 Doctoral Candidates will spend half of their research period (18 months) in one academic institution and the other half in an industrial partner.
All our DCs will receive periodic and specialized guidance under their Individual Research Projects.
Our training goals:
Providing skills to acquire complete autonomy on scientific tasks
Building team-working competencies in a multidisciplinary international environment
Linking fundamental expertise to industrial needs
Training in management of industrially focused research projects, including reporting and presentation of the results
Learning safety aspects and procedures within an industrial environment
Instructing about Intellectual Property protection
Mentoring in writing high-quality scientific publications and a PhD thesis
