
Dr. Daniele Leonori
Dr. Masson is CNRS Research Director DR1 at ICSN-CNRS/Paris Saclay University, and co-directs the Labcom HitCat, a collaborative effort with the SEQENS group and CNRS. She has led an independent research group since 2008. Her group currently consists of 2 permanent associates (senior and junior), 2 postdocs and 8 PhD students. The group has an international reputation for the design, synthesis and testing of functional organic molecules. Fully recognized in the field of enantioselective organocatalysis and synthetic methodologies using photoredox catalysis, she received numerous awards. Her contributions to the field of Organic Chemistry have been recognized with numerous awards including the Diverchim Prize in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from French Organic Chemistry Division (2011), CNRS Bronze Medal (2013), Liebig Lectureship of the German Chemical Society (2016), Novacap Prize of the French Académie des Sciences Award (2017), J.-M. Lehn prize of the French Organic Chemistry Division (2019), Junior Distinguished Member from the French Chemical Society (2020) and Cannizzaro-Arnaudon Lectureship from the Italian Chemical Society (2023). With more than 140 articles, her h-index is 46 (Scopus, January 2025).
